Core Mission:

We are looking for a Product Designer who thrives in complex environments and understands how to build experiences for technical users like developers, DevOps engineers, and platform teams. You will partner closely with product managers and engineers to own features end to end-from initial research and prototypes to final UI, handoff, and iteration.

You’ll play a critical role in creating a unified, intuitive platform that supports multiple use cases across the Kubernetes lifecycle-from reliability to cost optimization to infrastructure health.

What will you do?

• Own the full design process: from discovery and concept exploration to pixel-perfect designs and implementation guidance.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes, define and iterate on interaction flows, and design polished UIs that make complex workflows simple and usable.
• Present design alternatives and clearly communicate tradeoffs to product and engineering stakeholders.
• Use data, usability tests, and feedback loops to validate designs and continuously improve the user experience.
• Bring structure and clarity to multi-layered systems and abstract technical complexity into intuitive interfaces.

Maintain and evolve Komodor’s visual language and design system to ensure consistency across a growing web platform.

Requirements

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience designing complex SaaS products-must.
• Prior experience designing B2B platforms for technical users (e.g., developers, DevOps, SREs)-must.
• Proven ability to design for web products (desktop-first), with fluency in best practices, patterns, and responsive frameworks.
• Comfortable navigating platform-level complexity-multiple features, surfaces, and technical domains.
• Skilled in breaking down ambiguous problems, proposing thoughtful design directions, and providing clear rationale and tradeoffs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills-able to work quickly and iteratively with PMs, engineers, and other designers.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and product analytics to inform design decisions.

Familiarity with Kubernetes, DevTools, or the observability ecosystem is a major plus.
