Komodor Levels Up with New GTM Leadership!

I’m excited to announce the addition of two new members to Komodor’s leadership team!
This month, Jim Hunnewell has joined us as CRO, and Amy Ariel has joined us as CMO.

Over the past year, Kubernetes has continued to gain momentum. Today, virtually every organization is either using Kubernetes or planning its migration strategy. Both technical and business leaders have come to understand that Kubernetes is key to the success and growth of their business. Not only that, but solutions for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments are essential for any serious organization wanting to adopt.

Looking back, 2023 was a fantastic year. As Kubernetes adoption continues to skyrocket, Komodor has grown right along with it. We more than tripled our customer base and revenue, set new records for deal size, renewals, and multi-year contracts – all while breaking into and expanding our presence in the Fortune 500.

To continue that trend and to catapult us to the next level, we are doubling down on our go-to-market organizational strategy. We’re investing in adding new senior leadership and building the foundations for continued growth and success in the years ahead.

Sales: Sailing to Success

Jim Hunnewell is a proven sales leader with over 25 years of experience in technology and startups. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Pulumi, where he led the revenue organization, helping the company to triple its ARR and customer list. In prior roles, he served as the Vice President of Sales at Sqreen (acquired by Datadog), and GVP Commercial Sales at GitHub (acquired by Microsoft), and had the opportunity to hold other leadership roles in successful startups. Jim excels at building go-to-market organizations defined by culture and performance and I’m thrilled that he has joined the team.

Marketing: Charting the Course

Amy Ariel is a repeat CMO with over two decades in the tech and startup sectors. While CMO at Ermatic, Amy led the marketing organization from the seed stage through a successful acquisition by Tenable – where she most recently served as Vice President of Marketing, Cloud Security. Previously, Amy served as CMO at Meta Networks (acquired by Proofpoint) and steered Ariel Marketing, a boutique tech marketing agency, as CEO.  Amy is known for crafting innovative go-to-market strategies and propelling startups to success. We’re excited to welcome her as our CMO.

Welcome Jim and Amy!
